I was trying to photograph Shahrazad's torso(only) at the her Halloween party, But, it was very difficult . The lighting was poor and there was so much clutter and many guests in my way. Nevertheless, I love this photo..

I was invited to Shahrazad's Halloween Party and there was Jeff playing for all the bellydancers. He was a wonderful surprise and, he was one of my favorite photographic subjects. You can learn about Jeff at http://tribes.tribe.net/eastwindstribal
In photo School, we are learning depth of field. I was able to blur the background. This is a very special photograph dedicated to Dino Bakakos (owner of Lafayette Grill and Bar ) . Vicky is Dino's daughter.
I have three cats and this one is my favorite. This is Fred , he is fifteen years old. He lives free. He goes in an out of the house all day and all night. I named him Fred after a nice guy I met in College. Yeah, yeah, I had a crush on Fred but, he already had a girlfriend. My children always chukled, whenever I called Fred. "Fred , my boyfriend, where are you?" Now my children say, "Mom, please give your boyfriend a hug or mom your boyfriend is hungry". etc, etc,. I forgot to mention, Fred has lived with my family since he was two months old. Yes, we adopted him. Oh yeah, in my family ,Fred is not just our senior cat , he is, my boyfriend. YOu can also find Fred at http://www.bellydanceny.com/cats.html (stella's website ).
In Photography school this photo is a perfect example of the "decisive moment" I was taking a picture of my daughter with her new Halloween outfit and Lola just happened to pass by. By the way, Lola was adopted last summer , after I lost Indiana , my house cat. "Lola" is my mother's nickname. My mom lives in Ecuador.
My son Michael and his best friend Charlie are both high school seniors, at a private school in Brooklyn , New York. Michael and Charlie have known each other since they were babies and I mean newborns. Charlie's mom Amy, and I met while we were both pregnant with our sons. The boys had a nice upbringing. Amy and I spent many days or years, strolling and chasing and playing with our sons at parks, museums, zoos, the botanical garden and our backyards. We also baby sat for each other. Now, the boys are young men ready for college.Last weekend, Amy and I took our sons to New Palz to visit the university. We are not sure where our now, very big babies, will end up. But, we sure had a good time traveling for three hours with our very handsome teenage boys.
It was wonderful hosting Carmine and his band "The Turkish Band Camp All Star" at Lafayette with Carmine Guida - Oud, Melissa Murphey - Clarinet,Dale Langdon - Doumbek .Willa Roberts - Violin. In the end, some of us fortunate ladies, Mary Ann, Magdalena , Melissa, Melody & Samira enjoyed, a feast. We wined and dined with Carmine " The Prince of Lafayette" .
